Executive Leadership

Dr. Arnold is a Professor at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, Germany. He is one of Germany's leading biochar experts and developer of the Biochar Calculator.

Mr. Tarpenning was a co-founder of the Tesla Electric Motor Car Company, where he served as CTO and VP of  Engineering.   Mr. Tarpenning has a BS in EE from Stanford University.

Mr. Rapp is the 3rd generation grandson of the founder of a farm in California Central Valley; he operates the family-owned farm.

John is a co-founder of SAI. He was an organic farmer for over 30 years. John was also the first approved organic farmer in Montana with a wealth of practical experience.

Mr Stokes is the 5th generation grandson of the founder of a farm in California Central Valley; he is president of the management team that operates the family-owned farm.

 holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and currently serves as the Business Manager at Taiwan's Industrial Technology

Research Institute (ITRI), with a strong background in materials chemistry and agricultural chemistry. In 2023, he

broadened his expertise by completing the SCPD business program at Stanford University in Silicon Valley.

  is the Founder of Noble Bioresources, Inc. (NBI; NobleBioresourcesInc.com).  NBI is a bioproducts market & industry development firm, based in California.  He is also Executive Director of the Association of Compost Producers (ACP) (healthysoil.org; the US Composting Council California State Chapter) since 2002 and has over 50 years of science & business-based environmental education, market research, publishing, strategic consulting, enterprise, compost utilization, and association management experience. 

ACP continues to develop and implement compost awareness and market-ready programs, specifications, and sustainable management practices that build healthy soil using compost.  NBI turns bioresource market intelligence into regenerative Organics Management Infrastructure Plans for local communities, and profitable bioproduct businesses to support the development and operations of local renewable organic economies. Mr. Noble has been a student of Integral Life Practice for over 25 years, and has B.A. degrees in Biology and Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego, and M.S. degrees in Molecular Biology & Education from the University of Oregon.
